Curious what it’s like to surf in a judged heat? Or thinking about competing more down the line? This one’s for you!

At First Lines, you’ll get familiar with how Rapid Wave competitions work. Instead of flow and tricks being judged together in a single round, they’re judged across two separate rounds — helping you understand the format before taking the next step into Rapid Wave competitions.

With up to $1,888 worth of prizes up for grabs — plus special bundle pricing when you sign up as a crew of 3 — it’s set to be a fun day out with the community!

Intro Class Completion

ALL competitors must have completed a Surf Intro Class before they can compete.

Competition Registration

All registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis and are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.

Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of registration to secure your spot in the competition.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

All sales are final. No cancellations, refunds, or transfers are permitted once payment has been made. This policy is in place to ensure commitment and allow us to provide the best experience for all participants.

Competition Duration

Based on the sign-up numbers, the competition duration will be adjusted accordingly. Participants will be informed should there be any changes.

Competition Rescheduling & Cancellation

In the unlikely event that we need to reschedule or cancel the competition due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. In such cases, participants will be given the option to attend the competition on the new date or receive a full refund.

Health and Safety

Participants are responsible for their own health and safety during the competition. We encourage everyone to follow any health guidelines and be mindful of their surroundings.

Photography and Media Release

By participating in the competition, you consent to the use of photographs, videos, or other media taken during the event for promotional purposes, unless you notify us in writing before the competition date.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants.
